Why Join a Club?
There has never been a better time to join a cycling club. Cycling is becoming more and more popular. Cycling is healthy, enjoyable and great fun! At McNally Swords CC, we try to cater for all cyclists, from absolute beginners, to professional racer wannabes. Although Swords CC has active mountain bikers and touring sections, the main focus is road racing. Swords CC run one of the most successful club leagues with races every Wednesday, from April to August. Swords CC have a training spin to suit everyone. Most spins are on weekends and run regardless of the weather.

Why Get a Cycling Ireland Licence?

  • In order to take part in the Swords CC races and leisure spins, every rider must have a minimum of a Cycling Ireland Leisure licence.
  • In order to take part in the Swords CC League races, every rider must have a minimum of a Cycling Ireland Limited Competition licence.
