Club Champs: July 12th in Garristown

All,
We have made some changes to the annual club championship race which we hope will bring some extra spectacle to the event this year.

The circuit will be the usual Ardcath course from our club league, with the difference that the race finish on the final lap will be at the top of the climb into Garristown.  This finish harks back to the years when Joe McNally himself ran the league, and many riders will be familiar with the final painful kilometer-long grind to the line which will ensure the winners have truly earned their prize.
Prizes will be awarded for:
A race (4 laps)
1st over the line (Club Champion)
1st semi-scratch rider
B race (3 laps)
1st over the line (B champion)
1st limit rider
1st youth
Ladies (3 laps)
1st over the line (Ladies champion)
Results will be announced and the winners celebrated in Gormleys Pub in Garristown after the event.  We invite all club members including our social riders to come along on the night and cheer on the racers, and enjoy some banter in Gormleys afterwards. Finger food and tea/coffee will be provided.
